Booking terms.
The key points for booking, payment, additional costs, stay and cancellation. The booking process and booking confirmation are binding.
Scope
These terms apply to bookings of apartments by Ferienwohnungen Zermatt GmbH unless the booking process or booking confirmation states otherwise.
Conclusion of contract and services
A booking becomes binding once it has been completed by the guest and confirmed by the host. The type and scope of services are defined by the booking confirmation, the information shown during booking and the confirmed apartment details.
Prices, payment and additional costs
The prices in Swiss francs apply. Bed linen, final cleaning and utilities are included unless the booking confirmation states otherwise. Payment deadlines, payment methods and any deposits are defined by the booking process or booking confirmation.
Visitor tax
The municipal visitor tax in Zermatt is CHF 4 per adult per night. Children aged 9 to 16 pay half the rate; children under 9 are exempt. Changes to municipal regulations remain reserved. The booking process or booking confirmation is binding.
Dogs
Dogs are possible only by prior arrangement. The fee is CHF 10 per day unless the booking confirmation states otherwise. Please mention dogs before booking.
Arrival and departure
Check-in is planned from 15:00 and check-out by 09:00. Deviations are possible only by arrangement. Delayed arrival or early departure does not automatically entitle the guest to a refund.
Use of the apartment
The apartment may only be used with the booked number of guests. Guests must treat the apartment, furnishings, building and shared areas with care. Damage, defects or lost keys must be reported immediately. Smoking is not permitted in the apartments.
Cancellation
Unless the booking confirmation states otherwise, the following cancellation costs apply: free cancellation up to 43 days before arrival; 42 to 28 days before arrival 30 %; 27 to 14 days before arrival 50 %; from 13 days before arrival 100 % of the rental price.
The terms shown in the booking process and booking confirmation are binding.
Force majeure and official orders
In cases of force majeure, official orders or comparable circumstances that make the stay impossible or significantly more difficult, rebooking or cancellation may become necessary. Further claims are excluded to the extent permitted by law.
Complaints and liability
Complaints must be reported immediately during the stay so that remedy can be examined. No liability is assumed for disruptions outside the host's control or for guests' personal belongings, to the extent permitted by law. Guests are liable for damage caused by them.
Third-party services
Links, recommendations and external services such as mountain lifts, ski schools, sports shops, maps or booking providers are services of independent providers. Their respective offers and terms apply.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. The place of jurisdiction is Visp where permitted. Status: May 2026.
